Hastings woman taken to hospital after brutal attack on West Hill

Yesterday evening (December 27) a woman in her 30s climbed the steps at Exmouth Place in the Old Town which leads to the West Hill, police said.

Once there, she then sat on the second to last bench at the top of the hill.

At around 9.30pm, Sussex Police said a man with long hair approached the woman from behind and assaulted her.
