Lack of balance

MY husband and I are caravanners and have recently toured the UK.

Nowhere outside major towns and cities have we seen house building on the scale that has been, and is, taking place along our stretch on the coast.

We travelled across the midlands, along the M15 heading towards Lincoln, across the top of the country via Lancashire and down the west coast through Wales and back along the south coast.

We went through towns and villages on our trip and noticed the absence of house building.

Just mile upon mile of beautiful empty countryside.

So much empty space.

The influx is not spread out evenly across the county but concentrated on this local section.

It is so dense between Worthing and Bognor Regis that I feel the country has been upended and all the people have dropped to the bottom.

I have lived here all my life. There are four generations of my family locally.
