RNLI unveils plaque in memory of fundraiser

A MEMORIAL plaque has been unveiled at the lifeboat museum and shop in memory of RNLI stalwart Margaret Alison Shore.
Mrs Shore was a prominent member of the Eastbourne RNLI for many years and a major fundraiser.

The plaque was unveiled by her son-in-law Ian Wallington, a former regional fundraising manager of the RNLI, at the museum at the Wish Tower with a number of current and former fundraisers and lifeboat personnel.

It was placed alongside a picture of Mrs Shore's father Mr Robertson, a former honorary secretary of the Eastbourne Lifeboat
