BREAKING NEWS: Boy, 11, injured in St Leonards collision dies

The youngster was waiting to cross the road when the incident happened in Bexhill Road, St Leonards, on Saturday, October 22 at around 1pm.
Sussex Police said a silver Renault Espace travelling westbound collided with a central crossing bollard close to the junction with Bulverhythe Road.

Hide AdThe vehicle collided with Harley, who was taken by air ambulance to St George’s Hospital in Tooting, north London.
As a result of the collision, the A259 was closed to motorists for several hours.
A 69-year-old man from St Leonards has since been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drugs.
Police said he has been bailed until Wednesday, December 21 pending further enquiries.
