Cowdray launches its 10k

The first ever Cowdray 5k and 10k runs have taken place at the Cowdray Ruins.

Just under 200 runners took part. The 5k was won by Justin Eggins in 20 minutes 20 seconds, while Mike Houston won the 10k in 38 minutes are members of the Chichester Runners. All who took part received a Cowdray race medal at the end of the race.

Organised by Sally Guile of Cowdray Heritage and Jason Rae, a specialist running race organiser, they were supported by a team of volunteer helpers.
