Cyclist Nathan Hill was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 51-year-old, who worked at Tradesmith in Hailsham as a window and door maker, was ‘hugely popular’, his family said in an emotional tribute last year.
They said: “Nathan was much loved by everyone who knew him. He was a hugely popular man, well known in Hailsham.
“He was generous and kind and always stopped to say hello to people.
