Formed in 2005, the group, dizzy, was launched to help those diagnosed with diabetes, by offering easy to understand information and ongoing support.
A spokesman for dizzy said: “Unless you have diabetes yourself or know someone living with it, you probably don’t realise what a serious medical condition it is, the constant daily battle it presents for some and the long term complications which can be linked to it.”

The group also has a children and parent group where fun events are organised throughout the year.
This Saturday, November 14, dizzy will be holding a meet up at 10-12, Dove Lodge Littlehampton, at 10am.
The date would have been Sir Frederick Banting’s birthday, one of the co-finders of insulin – the first dose was given c1921.
