We should all be considerate

We have to accept two inevitable facts – that car numbers will keep increasing and that unless more reasonably priced off-street parking is provided, they will park somewhere.
Apart from double yellow lines at the exit points from properties on Calbec Hill, allowing parked cars there, strangely enough, makes for safety, as motorists have to slow down and drive by carefully.

Ironically, the only serious accidents in Battle for the last many years occurred at, of all places, the pedestrian crossings – a man being badly injured on the one at the south side of the town and a lady killed on the one at its northern end.

Some hope of that I can hear you say.
