Tiger artwork’s journey from Shoreham shop window to Channel 4’s Grayson’s Art Club
The artworks, which are made entirely from household waste by artist Imogen Paton, have reached new heights since being displayed at Neighbourhood Store, with the tiger appearing in an end of series exhibition for Grayson’s Art Club on Channel 4
After the episode was broadcast last Thursday, Imogen wrote on social media: “So super chuffed to wake up this morning and spot my tiger on last nights Grayson’s Art Club on Channel4... I really appreciate a chance to show the possibilities of working with waste!”

Hide AdEmma Criddle and Gary Martin, who run Neighbourhood Store, said it was ‘extremely exciting news’ which had brought ‘a little positivity in these tricky times’.
Imogen has been working on her Social Creatures art series since the first lockdown.
Made primarily from food packaging and non-recyclable plastics, the idea of the project is to highlight the plight of the diverse species under threat due to human impact.
They are made to hang on the wall as decorative objects, ‘making your home beautiful without a guilty conscience or putting yet more demands on our planet’, according to Imogen.
