A body has been found trapped in the rock groynes at Beach Green, Lancing, at 10am on Saturday (November 28).

A spokesman for Sussex Police said due to the high tide and its position, emergency services have been unable to remove it.

He said: “Currently police, coastguard and West Fire and Rescue have secured the body and will attempt to recover it at low time this afternoon.”
