WEATHER WARNING: Highways Agency alert for road users
Weather conditions are being monitored by the agency, using Met Office information, to maintain safe roads and reliable journeys.
The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for the North West and Wales, with gusts up to 80 mph predicted.

Hide AdDrivers of high-sided vehicles, caravans and motorbikes are advised to take extra care when travelling due to the increased risk of vehicles being blown over.
Surface water may affect motorways and major A roads so we advise drivers to move slowly through any standing water and test their brakes once they’re through before continuing to drive.
