AP McCoy celebrates Fontwell Park double for Jonjo
He rode two winners for trainer Jonjo O’Neill after starting his afternoon by struggling to make an impression on Raise You Five in the Ladbrokes Supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital Mares’ Beginners Chase.
That was won by the favourite Easter Legend, ridden by Jack Doyle, but McCoy more than made up for that disappointment with his other two rides of the seven-race card.

Then an hour later he was first past the post again on favourite Amuse Me in the ladbrokes.com Handicap Hurdle.
In between Daryl Jacob and trainer Nick Williams notched the first half of the other double on the card with a win on Ere Alfie in the Play Casino at ladbrokes.com Handicap Stepple Chase.
They followed that up in the last as Golden Duck took advantagve of long-time leader Shouldntbethere’s fall a couple from home in the Best Odds Guaranteed At ladbrokes.com Handicap Steeple Chase.

Aspell held off a strong challenge down the final straight from Timmy Murphy and Water Garden to take the honours aboard Camden in the Be Free With Ladbrokes Mobile Standard Open National Hunt race.
Aspell headed the field from early on and said afterwards: “I didn’t really plan it like that. We had a false start which made it a bit edgy and the first thing you have to do after that is relax your horse.
“He rode really well but we had a real battle at the end.”
Aspell, who had a double at Fontwell’s previous meeting, was modest about his run of form at his local track.
