Swim duo win national medals

Two swimmers from the Special Olympics Hastings & Rother group who train with Bexhill Swimming Club won medals at a national event.

Kirsty Stewart and Tristan Curtis were elated after clinching three medals, including two golds, between them at the British Learning Disability Swimming Championships last weekend.

Competitors from all over the UK take part in the prestigious championships at at the 10-lane Ponds Forge International Pool in Sheffield, but this year all swimmers were limited to enter just three events by the organisers.
